Gaza Reports Additional Fatalities as Overall Death Toll Continues to Rise
Gaza’s Health Ministry stated that five additional people were wounded during the same period. It also reported that the cumulative death toll since October 2023 has reached 72,991, with injuries exceeding 3,000 in recent incidents.
The ministry said the latest casualties occurred despite the existence of a ceasefire agreement reportedly in place since October 2025, alleging that violations of the truce have continued. It added that hundreds of people have been killed and thousands injured since the agreement was reached.
According to the same reports, widespread destruction has affected a large portion of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure over the course of the conflict, leaving significant damage across residential, medical, and public facilities.
The figures and circumstances remain subject to verification amid ongoing hostilities and restricted access to the territory, with multiple parties continuing to present conflicting accounts of events on the ground.
